Custom WordPress Theme

Challenge: Creating a custom WordPress theme from scratch with all bells and whistles. Custom coding and design needs to be implemented on this project.

Solution: To build themes for WordPress, it is necessary to learn HTML, CSS, PHP and a bit of JavaScript. By following WordPress principles for developing themes and plugins, I was able to create a theme for promoting content and services.

Result: In the final version of the theme, I can safely say that I was using Bootstrap 3 CSS framework for the design, custom post types, custom fields, and making the code clean and SEO friendly. It is a multi-page website with a nice landing page, it has resources page where you can find some nice resources for developers, custom blog section and a contact form.
